Plans are progressing well and pieces are falling into
place for the Spring Conference at Cedar Shore, Chamberlain. The
theme this year is "Revitalizing Ourselves; Motivating Our Students."
The conference has been expanded this year with focus
groups added Friday morning, plus a luncheon with a featured speaker.
Topics planned for the focus groups, but subject to
change, are teaching the block, post-secondary readiness, trouble shooting in
the first five years, dealing with DACS, reading strategies, and balancing the
extra curricular load.
Those who bring their homework to the conference will be
eligible for the door prize drawings. Your
homework is to bring 30 copies of a written idea or book review/recommendation.
