The South Dakota Council of Teachers of English will once again entertain nominations for SDCTE Teacher of the Year. The award is being restored after a hiatus of several years. The award will be presented at the Spring Conference, March 22-23.
To be eligible, nominees must have taught English or language arts in
a South Dakota school. Teachers from all levels, kindergarten through college, may be nominated.
If you would like to nominate someone for this great honor, write to Kandy Punt, Stickney High School, Stickney SD 57375. She will send you the forms and information to make a nomination.
Please take time to consider this opportunity. We have a lot of
outstanding teachers in this state. Let's not lose a chance to give at least
one of them due recognition.
