English teachers unite. Hi, my name is Karen Harrington, and I'll be your vice-president for this year. I'm married and have two children. Mary Anne is 9 and going to be a 4th grader, and Isaac is 5. I teach English 9, Novels, Speech, and Dramatics at Mitchell Senior High. This will be my 18th year of teaching the best subject in the world to young people. (Now I just have to convince my students of this.) I have taught in Nebraska, Colorado, and South Dakota so I have seen many ways and have many ideas that I'd love to share. I know that each of you has many wonderful ideas that I'd love to hear about. We need each other. Please think about joining the newly-rejuvenated organization. We had a conference in Huron last spring that was great. Everyone can benefit from revitalization. Have a great year.
