Membership in SDCTE has grown dramatically in the past three years. Ninety South Dakota English teachers are now members, an increase of 45% over three years ago. We hope that growth continues to increase. The potential is great because only about 10% of the potential members in South Dakota have joined SDCTE.
Now is the time to affirm your affiliation and support by renewing your membership for 1996. Current memberships will terminate in August. So, send in your dues now.
Moreover, encourage your colleagues to join. We have recently gained several new dynamic members in our growing ranks. If we are to be successful, we desperately need the untapped enthusiasm, imagination, and dedication of new members.
