Spring Conference--March 31,1984
9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
A spring conference of SDCTE will occur on Saturday, March 31 in
Jonas Hall at Black Hills State College in Spearfish, SD. All the sessions will be held in classrooms on the east side of the first
floor of Jonas. (Jonas is the building on the south side of the campus adjacent to the parking lot.)
Registration will be $5.00. Coffee, tea, and donuts will be served
during the morning, and a pizza lunch will be served at no additional charge.

8:30 to 9:00 ------ Registration
8:55 to 9:00 ------ Welcome and Announcements
9:00 to 9:45 ------ Session One.
Concurrent sessions in Biblical Literature, Writing in Elementary Language Arts, Reading Instruction, Creative Writing, Working with the Gifted, Writing Poetry, Technical Writing, Writing in the Social Sciences, Teaching High School Literature, and Teaching Speech will occur during each of the sessions.
Participants will be able to choose from five programs each session.
9:00 to 10:35 ------ Session Two.
10:35 to 11:00 ------ Break for coffee, rolls, and conversation.
11:00 to 11:45 ------ Session Three.
11:50 to 12:35 ------ Session Four.
12:45 to 2:00 ------ Lunch with pizza from the Spearfish Pizza Hut. Lunch will include a poetry reading by several area poets.
