English Notes wants to know what you have to say.
We're looking for anything that might be of benefit to people just like you--people
who teach language arts. Do you have a particular lesson or unit plan that
has been successful in your classroom? Do you have some reflections on teaching or on yourself as a
teacher or writer? Have you recently read a good book that might be useful in the
classroom? Do you write poetry, short fiction or essays that other teachers might find
encouraging or challenging? It doesn't matter what age group you teach, elementary
to college, we would love to add your voice to our publication.
If you have something you'd like to submit, just e-mail it (text, or preferably as a Word attachment) to ssimpson@mystic.bhsu.edu. Please include your name, of course, and also where you teach and what you teach. English Notes is for your benefit. We'd like to think that it can become a sort of "lifeline" for some in our state who may not get to interact with other teachers as much as they'd like. That means you must be willing to share your ideas too.
So get those ideas together and don't forget to get student permission if
you use any student work. Nancy and I can't wait to hear what you have to say.
